Continuing eruptions at Kilauea Volcano have captured the world's imagination. This excursion features the closest approach to the recent lava flows allowed by Civil Defense and local authorities. Our trained guides will escort you, and if conditions permit, you may be able to go right to the edge of a 2000 degree F molten lava flow! A real Polynesian Adventure!

Drive through Hilo Town & view Banyan Drive. See glorious water falls. Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the Jagger Museum & enjoy a no-host lunch at Volcano House. We will take you to the closest approach to recent lava flows as allowed by the National Park Service. Walk through the Thurston Lava Tube and drive along the Kilauea Iki Crater. Visit a macadamia nut factory (seasonal) and an orchid and anthurium nursery.

Special NOTE: Bring money for lunch at Volcano House Restaurant. As we cannot predict weather and lava viewing conditions, tour features can change daily. We do not guarantee the sighting of active lava flows. We discourage very young children from this tour. Passengers with asthma or other respiratory problems should consider our other tours to avoid potential health problems from exposure to fumes. All passengers will be required to sign a release of liability form.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in Hawaii: Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hats, visors and sunglasses.
